The hotel is brilliantly situated right on the main street in town, making it convenient for exploring Nelson's downtown services, restaurants, and activities. The service was exceptional throughout our stay, with the staff going out of their way to assist us. However, the rooms faced the main road, leading to some traffic noise, and finding budget-friendly dining options late at night was a challenge.
The hotel rooms were in superb condition and modern, though a bit small and basic. The loud AC/heater could be a bit annoying, but having a fridge and a microwave was super helpful for storing leftovers. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff always ready to assist, even providing route advice and snow reports. The central location close to Nelson's downtown services and various outdoor activities was very convenient, despite a slight drawback of the need to cross a street with luggage. The dining experience offered nice options, including a nearby restaurant with yummy meals, but it was a bit pricey. Overall, the hotel provides good value for money.
